Bring a Photo to Life with AI (2026)
EditThisPic turns any still photo into a 6-second AI-generated video clip with audio. Upload the image, describe the motion in plain English — "slow camera pull back," "the person smiles," "leaves blowing in the wind" — and get the MP4. Fast tier: 5 credits (~$2.50, 720p). Pro tier: 10 credits (~$4.99, 1080p). No free animate tier — the weekly free edit covers photo edits only.
Your photo doesn't change. It just gains six seconds of motion — the way the moment actually felt.

Pick Fast or Pro and generate
Fast (5 credits, 720p) for social and quick experiments. Pro (10 credits, 1080p) for sharper, more controllable motion. Audio is included on both.
What to upload
- A clear, well-lit subject — blurry photos animate poorly because the AI cannot un-blur the still first
- Aspect ratio close to 16:9 (landscape) or 9:16 (vertical) — anything else gets letterboxed
- For people: face visible, not too small in frame, ideally one or two subjects
- Avoid copyrighted characters or branded content if you plan to use the clip commercially
- Photos with depth (foreground + background) tend to animate more cinematically than flat ones
If the AI safety filter rejects an upload, your credits are automatically refunded. People-and-clothing photos refuse more often than landscapes, products, or pets.
What you can use this for
Memorial and tribute moments
Bring photos of family members — present or passed — to life for a few seconds. A subtle smile, a gentle camera move, a soft breath of wind through the scene.
Wedding and event recaps
Animate favourite stills from a wedding, anniversary, or graduation. Six-second clips loop naturally on social and in slideshow tools.
Real-estate and architecture listings
Static exterior or interior shots become gentle walk-through clips — far cheaper than commissioning a videographer.
Personal portraits and creator content
Turn a headshot, profile picture, or self-portrait into a moving video for LinkedIn, dating profiles, podcast intros, or YouTube banners.
