Bulk Photo Enhancer

Last updated

Drop 3 or more photos, type one enhancement instruction, and the AI applies it across every photo in your set. Best for phone-camera albums shot in dim or mixed light, event photos that came out soft or noisy, and scanned prints that need sharpening. One prompt runs across up to 25 photos — sharpen, denoise, fix exposure, lift shadows, or all at once.

How it works

  1. Upload 3 or more photos

Open the editor and drop your photos or use the file picker to select multiple files. The batch panel queues them up. JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC are all accepted — HEIC is converted automatically.

Expect: Processing runs at roughly 30 seconds per photo, with 2 photos running concurrently on desktop. A set of 12 photos takes around 6 minutes total.
  2. Type one enhancement instruction for the whole set

Write a single prompt that describes what needs fixing across your photos. The same instruction applies to every photo in the batch — you don't need to write one per photo.

Tip: Name the specific problems rather than writing 'make it better.' 'Sharpen the photo, reduce the noise, and brighten the shadows' gives the AI three clear targets. Generic prompts produce generic results.

Copy one of these to get started:

All-purpose sharpening and noise reduction Sharpen the photo and reduce the noise, keep the colors natural
Dim event or indoor photos Brighten the shadows and fix the dim lighting without washing out the highlights
Slightly soft or blurry phone shots Make this slightly blurry photo crisp and clear, sharpen the edges and fine details
Mixed-light event photos Fix the color cast, balance the white balance, and sharpen the details
    2 more prompts
Scanned prints or old photos Reduce the grain and noise, sharpen the details, and bring out the shadow areas
Full enhancement pass for a whole set Sharpen the photo, reduce noise, fix the exposure, and lift the shadows — keep skin tones natural
  3. Review the results grid and save all

Once processing finishes, your enhanced photos appear in a grid. Click through each one to compare against the original. Zoom in on faces, text, and fine details to check the sharpness. Hit 'Save all' to add the set to your library.

  4. Refine individual photos (optional)

If one or two photos in the set need a different treatment — a face that looks over-smoothed, or a shot taken in much darker light — open them individually and run a more targeted prompt. Outliers are common when a set spans very different lighting conditions.

Dim indoor party photo — brightened and sharpened

A hand-held shot from an indoor party: noisy, slightly soft, and underexposed. One prompt lifted the shadows, reduced the grain, and sharpened the faces.

Prompt: Brighten the shadows and fix the dim lighting, sharpen the details, reduce the noise

Same photo with corrected contrast, warmer tones, and improved clarity
After

Overcast outdoor event — flat light corrected

An outdoor event shot on an overcast day: flat contrast, muted colors, and a slight coolness to the whole set. One prompt applied across the batch brought back contrast and warmth.

Prompt: Fix the flat lighting, increase the contrast slightly, and warm up the color temperature
Scanned family photo with grain and soft edges

Same scanned photo with grain reduced and details sharpened
After

Scanned print — grain reduced and details sharpened

A scanned family print with visible paper grain and soft edges from a consumer flatbed scan. Prompt targeted grain and edge sharpness across the whole scanned batch.

Prompt: Reduce the grain and noise in this scanned photo, sharpen the edges and fine details, keep the original colors

Quick answers

How do I enhance many photos at once?

Upload 3 or more photos to EditThisPic using the multi-select file picker, then type one enhancement instruction — for example, 'sharpen the photo, reduce noise, and brighten the shadows.' The AI applies that single prompt to every photo in your batch. Up to 25 photos per batch, at roughly 30 seconds per photo.

Does one prompt really apply to all the photos?

Yes. You type one instruction and it runs against every photo in the batch. This is the core of how batch mode works — one prompt, up to 25 photos, no per-photo typing. If some photos need a different treatment, run them as a separate batch with a different prompt.

How many photos can I enhance at once?

Up to 25 photos per batch. If you have more, run a second batch — just drop the next set and use the same prompt. There's no limit on how many batches you run.

Does bulk photo enhancement increase the resolution of my photos?

No. Enhancement improves perceived clarity, sharpness, noise levels, and exposure — it does not change the photo's pixel dimensions or file resolution. If a photo is 2000×1500 pixels going in, it comes out at 2000×1500 pixels. What changes is how crisp, clean, and well-lit the image looks at that size.

Will the AI over-process my photos?

It depends on how specific your prompt is. 'Sharpen and denoise' is a targeted instruction that produces controlled results. 'Make it look amazing' is vague and more likely to produce heavy-handed output. If a photo comes back over-processed, describe the strength you want — 'subtle sharpening' or 'light noise reduction' — and rerun the outlier individually.

What does it cost to enhance multiple photos?

Each photo uses 1 credit. One-time packs: 10 photos for $4.99, 25 photos for $9.99 (40¢ per photo), 50 for $17.99, 100 for $29.99. The checkout automatically preselects the pack that covers your batch — if you drop 18 photos, it opens with the 25-photo pack selected.

Is there a way to try it before running the whole set?

Your first single-photo edit each week is free — enhance one photo to judge the result before running the set. Batch runs use credits (1 per photo).

How long does a batch of photos take to enhance?

Roughly 30 seconds per photo, with 2 photos processing concurrently on desktop. A batch of 10 photos takes around 5 minutes; 25 photos takes around 12 minutes. Processing runs in the background — you don't need to keep the tab focused.

Do I need an account to enhance photos in bulk?

Yes, an account is required for batch mode because credits attach to your account and results save to your library. Creating an account only requires an email — no password, no app download. The magic link arrives in seconds.

What photo formats does the bulk enhancer accept?

JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC. HEIC files from iPhones are converted automatically before processing — no manual conversion needed.

What happens if one photo in the batch fails?

Failed photos are refunded automatically — their credit is returned to your account and the rest of the batch completes normally. You can then rerun the failed photo individually.

How much does EditThisPic cost?

You get 1 free edit per week — no account needed. After that, credit packs start at $1.99 for 3 edits. Monthly plans start at $4.99/mo for 20 edits with unused credits rolling over. All edits are full resolution with no watermark.
