   Describe what to keep and ask for transparent background

   Type what you want to keep and say 'transparent background': 'remove the background and make it transparent, keep only the person' or 'make the background transparent, isolate the red handbag.' Naming the subject helps the AI cut in the right place — especially for photos with multiple objects.

   Tip: For products with complex shapes or fine edges, add specifics: 'keep the full watch including the strap and the watch face clearly isolated with clean edges.' Explicit edge instructions improve cut quality on detailed subjects.

   Download the PNG and verify the alpha channel

   The download will be a PNG file. Open it in any image viewer — you should see a checkerboard pattern where the background was. Check the edges: look for any background color bleeding into the edges (a white or dark fringe). If there is a fringe, refine.

   Fix stubborn edges with a marker

   If a specific edge area has leftover background pixels or an unwanted fringe, tap a marker on that edge and say 'clean up the edge here — remove the remaining background pixels, keep the subject clean.' Most simple subjects don't need this step.

   Tip: Hair and fur edges are the hardest. For portraits with complex hair, describe the hair specifically: 'isolate the person including all fine hair strands at the edges, make the background fully transparent.'
