How it works

   Upload your two photos

   Drop your main photo (the one containing the person you want to replace) into EditThisPic. Then click '+ Add reference photo' below the prompt to upload a clear photo of the replacement person. TWO photos are required: the main photo with the person to remove, and the reference photo of the replacement person. JPG, PNG, WebP up to 7MB each.

   Expect: Person swap in a simple scene: 30-45 seconds. Complex group scenes may need 2-3 refinements to match the replaced person's exact position.

   Attach the reference photo of the replacement person

   Click '+ Add reference photo' and upload a clear photo of the person you want to swap IN. This is the key step — the AI uses this reference to composite the replacement person into the exact position, scale, and lighting of the person being swapped out. The better the reference photo, the more accurate the likeness.

   Tip: A reference photo where the replacement person is in a similar pose or facing a similar direction to the person being replaced gives the smoothest result.
