   Drop any photo into EditThisPic. JPG, PNG, WebP up to 7MB. The photo should show your face clearly, looking at the camera. Portraits, headshots, LinkedIn photos, and even cropped group photos work well as long as your face is clearly visible.

   Expect: Standard conversion: 30-40 seconds. Photos with complex backgrounds or unusual angles: 45-60 seconds.

   Describe the passport photo conversion

   Type your instruction: 'convert this photo to a passport photo with plain white background, head centered, shoulders visible' or 'make this a passport photo for US passport application with white backdrop.' Specify the country if you need specific dimensions.

   Verify the conversion

   Check that the background is uniformly white with no remnants of the original scene. Verify head centering, that both ears are visible, and shoulders are properly framed. Zoom in to inspect edges where your hair meets the new white background.

   Refine with markers if needed

   If traces of the original background remain, especially in hair edges or around shoulders, tap markers on those areas and regenerate. Most conversions from clear portraits come out clean on the first try.

   Tip: For photos with very busy original backgrounds, place markers near hair edges where the old background might bleed through.
