Do I need to sign up to remove a background or object?
No. Upload your photo, type what you want removed, and download the result — all without creating an account.
How does EditThisPic compare to EZRemove for removal quality?
EditThisPic uses our AI to process removal requests described in plain English. It handles backgrounds, specific objects, people, watermarks, and blemishes with strong results for typical use cases. EZRemove is a focused removal tool that may have advantages for specific high-volume workflows. For most everyday removal tasks, EditThisPic produces solid results at no cost.
Can I remove an object and replace it with something else?
Yes. You can chain instructions: 'Remove the car and fill in the background naturally' or 'Remove the person and replace with a garden.' EditThisPic handles removal and fill-in simultaneously.
Will my photo have a watermark after removing the background?
No. EditThisPic never watermarks a purchased download, and the free weekly edit lets you check the result first.
Can I use EditThisPic on my phone?
Yes. EditThisPic works in any mobile browser on iOS or Android — no app download needed.
What other things can EditThisPic remove besides backgrounds?
EditThisPic can remove specific objects, people, watermarks, text overlays, blemishes, scratches, scars, shadows, and more — all through plain English prompts. It also goes beyond removal: you can add objects, change backgrounds, recolor items, and apply style changes.
