   Upload any photo where the subject is clearly distinct from the background. Portraits, headshots, and product photos all work well. Photos where the subject color closely matches the background may need a marker to guide the AI. JPG, PNG, WebP up to 7MB.

   Expect: Clean backgrounds with a clear subject: 25-35 seconds. Complex hair or soft-edge subjects: 35-50 seconds.

   Describe the new background color

   Type what you want: 'change the background to pure white, keep all shadows under the chin and shoulders.' The AI identifies the background automatically. Specific color descriptions give cleaner results — 'light grey' is clearer than 'grey,' and 'pure white #ffffff' works when you need an exact shade.

   Tip: For professional headshots, 'clean light grey with a subtle gradient' looks more natural than stark white. For product photos, 'pure white with no shadows' is the standard.

   Check the subject edges

   Look at hair, shoulders, and any soft edges where the subject meets the background. Zoom in to verify no background color crept onto the subject and no subject color bled into the new background. A clean edge is the most important quality indicator.
