   Expect: Moderate cloudy-patch damage: 40-60 seconds. Larger areas of lifted or missing emulsion: 60-90 seconds and often benefits from one refinement pass.

   Describe the damage and what's missing

   Type what happened and where: 'this photo stuck to the frame glass — rebuild the cloudy patch on the left side of the face and recover natural color.' If part of the image is completely gone, mention what should be there based on the rest of the photo. No marking needed for the AI to start.

   Tip: The more you tell the AI about what used to be in a missing area (a sleeve, a background tree, part of a smile), the more accurate the reconstruction — describe it like you're telling a friend what the photo used to look like.

   Use markers to point at exact damaged zones

   Zoom into every previously damaged patch. Reconstructed areas should blend naturally with the surrounding photo in texture and lighting. If a rebuilt area still looks off, describe more detail about what belongs there and refine.
