   Describe what the photo needs

   Type what you want fixed: 'remove the background clutter and replace with a clean neutral background,' 'brighten the photo so the item color is accurate,' 'remove the coffee mug in the corner that isn't part of the listing.' You can combine multiple fixes in one description.

   Tip: eBay buyers look for accurate color, visible condition details, and no distracting background. Focus your description on those three things.

   Review the result for accuracy

   For eBay specifically: check that the item's actual condition is still accurately visible. If a scratch or wear mark was on the original, it should still be there — eBay prohibits misleading listing photos. Zoom in on the condition details you'd disclose in your listing.
