   Drop a clean portrait or chest-up photo of your model into EditThisPic. The neckline and collarbone area should be clearly visible — avoid turtlenecks, scarves, or hair covering the neck. JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 7MB. A neutral or solid background gives the cleanest result.

   Expect: Portrait or bust-length shots with clear neck area: 20-30 seconds. Complex scenes with patterned backgrounds or low-resolution photos may need one refinement pass.

   Add your necklace product photo as a reference image

   Describe the placement precisely

   Type your instruction in the prompt field. Be specific: describe the product as 'this exact necklace' and name where it should sit — mid-neck, at the collarbone, layered with another chain. Include a lighting match instruction so the necklace looks like it's really on the model and not pasted on.

   Refine with markers if shadows or chain position need adjustment

   If the clasp position looks off, the chain doesn't drape naturally, or the pendant hangs at the wrong angle, tap a marker on that specific area and regenerate with a focused fix. Most placements look right on the first pass. Markers are for precision refinement only.
