Fix Blinking in a Group Photo

How it works

   Upload the group photo

   JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 7MB. Use the frame where everyone else looks best — the blink is the only thing that will change. Faces that are a reasonable size in the frame give the AI the most to work from.

   Expect: A group of four to six takes about 20-35 seconds. The smaller each face is in the frame, the harder the job: in a wide shot of twenty people, a blinking face may be too small to rebuild convincingly.

   Describe who blinked, by position and clothing

   Type the whole instruction: 'open the eyes of the woman in the bright pink top, third from the left, natural brown eyes looking at the camera, leave everyone else in the photo completely unchanged.' There is nothing to select or mark — the description is how the AI finds the right person, and the closing clause is what keeps the others untouched.

   Tip: Two blinkers? Name both in one instruction — 'the man in the green shirt on the far left and the woman in the pink top, third from left' — rather than running two edits. Each pass on the same photo adds a little drift.

   Check the fixed face, then check everyone else

   Zoom in on the opened eyes first: matching size, colour, and direction, and lids that belong to that face. Then scan the other faces — they should be pixel-for-pixel what you uploaded. If anyone else changed, the instruction was read as applying to the group.

   Refine with a marker if needed

   If two people match the description — two people in blue, say — tap a marker on the one who blinked and repeat the instruction. For a clearly described person the words alone are normally enough.
